Dropbox on mac wont open
If the process finds a new version, it will auto-update.
This process must exist on any computer where Dropbox is installed. Dropbox requires access to the internet to function.

If your device is managed by a system administrator, have them follow the instructions below. Keep in mind that the password field in the terminal will remain blank as you type your password. Note some of these commands didn't actually do anything. I think they were just trying to be super thorough. Restart Dropbox from the Applications folder, then please sign in and apply any Selective Sync settings you may have had prior to the reinstall during the sign in process.
